● Electricity infrastructure technology · Australia
engineered.
Australian technology for understanding electricity infrastructure, network capacity and the demands of an electrified world.
01 The engineering problem
Every new load asks the network one question.
Can it carry this? Data centres, electrolysers and electrified industry arrive in tens to hundreds of megawatts. Answering that question well, and proving the answer, is an engineering problem before it is a commercial one.
How much can this point carry?
Hosting capacity at a connection point, at every stage of a site's growth, with the first binding limit named: a line, a transformer or a voltage.
What if a line is lost?
A connection that works with every circuit in service has to hold through each credible outage, for every stage and every option.
What actually happened?
Once a site runs, its study assumptions drift. Network and customer need a shared record of events that either side can check.
02 Flagship capability
Window
One engine that follows a connection through its whole life, from the first study to the last event. Every figure comes from a full AC power-flow calculation and is confirmed by an independent solver.
Connection and capacity
AC power flow at every growth stage, intact and under each listed outage. Hosting capacity with every figure classified by how far it can be trusted.
Assumption monitoring
Measured site and network data tested against the assumptions the connection was studied on, with drift surfaced and its evidence attached.
Verifiable reconstruction
Event time and knowledge time kept apart, written to a signed evidence pack that a third party can verify and re-run.
● Validation record
03 Technical direction
Engineered for network scale.
Screening one connection takes thousands of AC solves across stages, outages, options and operating snapshots. On transmission networks with thousands of buses, that becomes an accelerated-computing problem.
GPU-batched power flow
Thousands of stage and contingency cases solved in parallel, with sparse linear solves batched on GPUs using NVIDIA cuDSS.Proposed · First: profile a multi-thousand-bus network
Grid digital twin
Screened scenarios exported as OpenUSD scenes for NVIDIA Omniverse, so a connection can be studied in its real geography.Proposed · First: a licensed geographic dataset
Plain-language scenarios
An engineer describes a connection in words; a model served as an NVIDIA NIM drafts a validated scenario for the engineer to confirm before any calculation.Proposed · First: an agreed accuracy test set
